WELCOME TO
Gallowglass Motorcycle Club
The idea of the motorcycle club grew out of several years of discussion between two best friends; one that did multiple stints in the penitentiary, totaling 24 years before finally getting his feet on the ground and turning his life around, and the other friend whose career in the military spanned 24 years. The concept was shared with a few other close biker friends, all seeking the bonds, brotherhood, and camaraderie they relished in the military and the MC could provide and also believing in the mission of helping others and never leaving a brother behind, and hence The Gallowglass Motorcycle Club was born. GMC is not a 1% club, not a 1% Support or Feeder club.
VISION
Mission
Gallowglass MC is dedicated to assisting veterans and individuals desiring to leave the criminal justice system and get their feet on the ground. We do this by raising money through various fund-raising events. All dedicated funds go to ensuring the success of our mission. We will accomplish our mission by assisting veterans and individuals desiring to leave the criminal justice system in times of need whether it is emotional, psychological, financial or skills related; our members step in to help by engaging the individual, identifying their need, and then organizing to assist them.
What does this look like? Basic example for an individual desiring to leave the criminal justice system, even better a veteran desiring to leave; they may be faced with many challenges to make that transition. This could be as simple as getting them up to speed on the latest technologies, finding a new job, knowing where to find food and shelter. We may find job placement in one of our partners in the Gallowglass Business Consortium or placement in a Gallowglass Rehabilitative Home. At a minimum, we will assist individuals by providing basic tools and resources needed to establish oneself after being in the criminal justice system and by doing so we seek to reduce recidivism.
Gallowglass MC does not allow current or former law enforcement officers. However, we do have members that continue to hold security clearances in the military and positions related to National Security (unrelated to law enforcement), and as such, we require strict adherence to our code of conduct to protect our members clearances and our members in general.
